This shop, unlike the other which wanted to replace the rear brake system, too, pointed out that the rear brakes were "not that bad" despite the other shop having diagnosed that the entire three year old rear brake system needed replacement. Now, to the other shop's credit, one of the caliper bolts was broken on a rear brake (I actually think the first shop broke it in their inspection since the problem was only noticed after I retrieved it from that first shop). Once the front brakes were done, and I picked up the car from North Bridge, I noticed a metallic "clank" sound from the rear tire when driving over even the smallest bumps. That evening using the key drop slot and an envelope, I dropped it back off again here for further work but this time on the rear brakes. I'd have been happy to pay, but they diagnosed the broken rear caliper bolt and replaced it "no charge". I allowed plenty of time dropping off my car early and not expecting it for ten days. They surprised me by getting it done much more quickly than expected. These guys are a treasure in the community. Thank you for your great service! You came highly recommended from an auto body repairman in town, and you fully lived up to that reputation. This is a trustworthy (and thankfully reasonably priced) shop!
